Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Deep golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is bready malts, some wood, herbs and mild notes of bread and a bit farmyard. Flavour is wood, some bready malts, mild hay as well as herbs and some slight spicyness. Interesting flavour actually, even though the aroma was rather poor.

Bottle: a bit unclear, pale golden to golden, persistent foamy layer; vegetables and straw in the grainy-bitter nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering sweetish-grainy finish with a delicate, but distinctive bitterness in the aftertaste. Tastes far better than it smells........

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, clear, lacy off-white head; light dryish toasty nose with coffee and a subtle fruitiness underneath; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and soft; slightly lingering delicate bitter-toasty finish. Nothing to complain.....

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium amber yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, molasses, caramel, light earth, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091113]

bottle, Dank gebührt MoritzF! Clear golden yellow, large and creamy white head. Aroma of malt and marzipane. Light- to medium-bodied, malty background with a grainy character, armatic bitter hops with a dusty touch and hints of wood. Lingering bitter hoppy finish. Nice!

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is breadish and light acidic. Caramelish flavoured, light breadish. Good counterbalanced with hops. Light bitter and fruity flavoured into the finish.

(bottle) Clear, dark mahogany colour with a big and beige foamy head. Rather discreet aroma: slightly dusty and sweet malty, just a bit roasty aroma with a leafy touch and a tinge of herbal hops. Slightly sweet and minimal bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Moderately roasty malty and leafy taste with shy hints of liquorice; almost dry, slightly roasted and a bit slim finish. 10.XI.09

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sweet and doughy pale malty aroma with herbal and slightly grassy hops. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty, slightly strawy taste with light herbal hops; moderately dry and slightly bitter hoppy finish.
