Overall Impression: Had this one all over the place on a trip to Spain. Light, thirst quenching, boring pale lager.
Not sure where they get the 5 Stars...

[330ml bottle at La Parada, Reading] Following on from a weekend of real ales, this served to remind me of how poor pale lagers are in comparison, and what a triumph of advertising over taste this genre is. And this is not an especially bad example (inasmuch is it’s possible to differentiate between pale lagers anyway). It pours gold with a small white head but about the right amount of carbonation. It’s very light-bodied, but there’s definitely some grassy hops and it has quite a smooth and creamy finish. However, the overall impression is of a bland, tasteless drink. c3

Can. A light golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and cardboard. The flavor is bad of cardboard, straw, malt, and brewing cereal. The body is thin.
Earlier Rating: 11/9/2007 Total Score: 1.9
A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a light dusty hop note. The flavor is sweet combined with a sour corn note.
