Bottle at RateBeer Awards. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, wood, dark fruit, candy sugar. Medium body, bourbon, oak, roast, light pine, very good.

12-16 oz pour on draft at Mad Fox Falls Church. Served in a snifter. Mostly clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of orange and grapefruit citrus, floral notes, tropical fruit, stone fruit, citrus zest. Tastes of grapefruit and orange citrus, floral notes, light herb, orange peel, subtle spice, subtle booze. Medium body with a dry and slightly warming finish. Nice collaboration.

16 oz pour on cask at Mad Fox Falls Church. Served in a nonic pint glass. Dark brownish black with frothy light tan head. Aromas of nice cinnamon notes, cocoa. Tastes of dark chocolate, cocoa, light cinnamon, slightly bitter roasty notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Tasty, cinnamon comes out more on the aroma.

4oz draft pour at Mad Fox Falls Church. Poured a golden color with a small white head. Aroma was sweet malts, touch of caramel, vanilla, and some woody notes. Flavor was caramel, sweet and pilsener malts, earthy hops. Alcohol well masked.

4oz draft pour at Mad Fox Falls Church. Poured a nearly pitch black-brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was coffee, some green pepper notes, light wood, vanilla. Some light woody notes, with some roasted coffee, chocolate character and a touch of sweet malts. Lots of bourbon notes come through in this.

4oz draft pour at Mad Fox Falls Church. Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was nice citrus notes, floral, some light tropical fruit pineapple notes, some stonefruit and a touch of acidic notes. Flavor was light funky notes, pretty tasty.

Mango and mangosteen like thai fruit bowl without the snakefruit. Hazy orange pour with decent head. Bitter finish. Nice stuff. Tap at Shaw Right Proper brewpub.
