Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/23/13, 200th Rater of this one

Aroma: This one has a fresh cut grass aroma, with plenty of bread and grain malts
Appearance: It pours a clearish orange-golden color with a small white head and some sticky lace
Flavor: Tastes grassy, grainy, a lightly fruity, with a nice, light sweetness and light-medium bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light, it has a lively carbonation, a clean feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This one is actually a really nice, clean, easy to drink beer. I could see this being a perfect beach beer, as it is light and easy to drink without sacrificing flavor (a tough tightrope to walk). Well done.

looks like any other good beer, slightly darker than yellah. nice head, then quarter inch from a bottle. good bite fades but bitterness hangs for a while round the front of yer tongue. Seems to have more alky than 4.8, heheh. sounds like the description was written by a rater. some slag in thar. decent background sizzle. simple clean aroma. unique.

Sample from cask at the 10th annual Barley’s Mini Real Ale Fest on 05/04/13: Brown-black pour with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and coffee in the nose. Medium body with flavors of toasted malt, espresso and chocolate. The finish is moderately bitter with a coffee and hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle received in trade from cpetrone84, thanks for the opportunity Chris! Bottled in 2009 enjoyed in 2013 Pours a solid color of darkness with a smallish tan head that quickly dissipates to wisps of foam on the top. Smells of caramel, brown sugar, milk chocolate, light cereal grains, a hint of earthy hops and a touch of ethanol. The flavor is sweet and malt with a bit of sugary caramel malt with some roasty milk chocolate. Earthy hop with a hint of wet cardboard round out the flavor. Medium to thick body with a light level of carbonation and a sweet oily mouthfeel. Nice Stout really heavy on the sweet caramel and chocolate and showing slight hints of oxidation. glad I got to try it, but wouldn’t mind a fresh sample too.
