Bottle from brewery. Clear reddish brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, esters, raisins, light smokey notes. First impression in taste is alcoholic bitterness, caramel, banana esters, raisins, nougat.

Eine Kooperation zwischen der Leopoldauer Brauerei und Schwarzbräu aus Krumbach. Es ist ein belgisches Witbier mit Kumquats 🍊, Kamille 🌼und weihnachtlichen Gewürzen. Dies setzt man auch sehr großzügig ein. Besonders die Kamille ist recht intensiv. Das ist auch alles sehr nett, allerdings fehlt mir ein bisschen die Harmonie zwischen den eigentlich tollen Zutaten. So schlägt sich besonders das Kardamom mit der Kamille und keines kommt so richtig schön rüber. Man kann es auf jeden Fall gerne probieren, aber ein Top-Bier ist es nicht.

Bottle at ABC 2023.Golden color with white head. Hoppy aroma of pines, zest, grassy notes. Taste is mainly malty complemented by citrus hops, with zest, pines. Unfortunatelly also some caramel.

Tap at Wiener Bier Festival. Thin body, med-high carbonation. Mostly malty, with medium caramelly, toasted, bready maltiness. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Hint of astringency. Light grassy earthy hops character. Not great, not terrible.

Tap at Wiener Bier Festival. Medium body, rather high carbonation. Medium spicy phenols, peppery-clovey, med-light banana esters. Med-light sweetness, medium spiciness, light bitterness. Easy drinking after the first few sips. Very classic, very good, my idea of weizen.

Tap at Wiener Bier Festival. Rather thin body, medium carbonation - could use more. Light sweetness, hints of bitterness and sourness. Feels a bit watery, but super easy drinking. Light flowery and spicy coriander flavours. Not much more to be found here, but pleasant as is. Good.
