Description
Our Beer is our word.
It’s really that simple. Starting here, with these few words you see before you, we’re going to make you a promise. We won’t lie to you. We won’t manipulate you. We won’t use focus-group tested tricks. We absolutely won’t sacrifice quality for profit margins. Right about now our accountants are likely smashing their keyboards in rage about that last one. They can deal with it. We’re going to be real with you. What we’ll do is offer you a glimpse into why three young home brewers in a garage decided that they’d had enough of other people telling them what they could and couldn’t do. We’re going to show you that every ounce of creativity and love that Matt, Jason, and Tyler can muster is painstakingly crafted into our art.
Our art is beer. Please enjoy it with us.

Draft. A- Lemon, tangy. A- Pale yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Lemon, sour, grains, mild vanilla, salty. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish. O- Not sure I get much cookie but loads of lemon and a little salty. Pretty unique and it works well enough.

Single can from HyVee, Carroll, Iowa. Finally got me a South Dakota beer! Just 4 states and DC to go. Sorry my example is of a style it's hard to get excited about, but here goes: The pours brings up that lightly malty beer smell, with no problems. A slightly hazy beer body under a sudsy head. Tasted cold, and it does offer some standard light lager taste. I may be getting a note of corn to maintain its lightness. But it stays agreeable, with a slight prickle from hops and the effervescence.

Draft/Fest. A- Booze, chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Booze, chocolate. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, boozy finish. O- Wow, this had potential but the barrel really kills everything. Definitely a booze bomb.

Draft/Fest. A- Caramel, vanilla, honey. A- Brown color, cloudy liquid, beige head. T- Honey, vanilla, oak, mildly floral. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- Definitely a lighter tasting barleywine. No bitterness and a touch sweet. Different than most barleywines I've tasted. The barrel doesn't add flavor but perhaps creates a more nuanced character. Very drinkable and can't taste the abv at all.

Draft/Fest. A- Pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, rich. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, sweet. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- Absolutely a dessert beer but not cloying. The pistachio flavor is very much there and I love that. Really digging this. Get all the PVC flavors but I'm not sure the barrel aging adds a ton of flavor. Maybe it's just that well balanced.

Can/Fest. A- Tart, fruity. A- Off gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Sour, vinegar, slightly funky. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- The cranberry adds a big tart factor but not much flavor. A bit funky and sour, kinda basic, wanted a lot more cranberry.
