Meine Kneipe hat während des lockdowns die Karte überarbeitet und nun findet sich dieses Bier dort -und muss natürlich sofort beprobt werden. Nach dem beschallten Back from Space kommt jetzt der zweite Streich: Ein süßes Milk Stout soll es also sein. Es mag nicht komplett im EInklang sein, aber ich finde es durchaus gelungen. Man hat süße Karamell-Noten und verknüpft diese mit erdigen Kaffeesud, unterstrichen von einer leichten Milchsäure. Kann man so lassen.

Ein neues Bier von einem mir bislang unbekannten Brauer. Es American Ale, das während des Brauvorgangs beschallt wird. Ob sich das wirklich auf den Geschmack auswirkt, weiß ich nicht. ABer das Bier ist wirklich angenehm zu trinken, da es sehr bekömmlich ist. Es hat angenehme grasig-blumige Aromen, welche man sich von einem solchen Bierchen erwartet. Ein wirklich tolles Gebräu mit interessanter Geschichte.

0,33l bottle at home bought form Die Bierothek, Vienna. BB 21.04.2020. dark yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells of pines, earthy, lychee, light berry notes, melon, biz zesty. nice smell, bit on the heavy side. medium to full body, soft carbonation. tastes piney, earthy, peppery, grassy, zesty, some tangerines, melon, tobacco, lychee. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of tobacco, tangerines and lychee. surprised by this one, very good to drink, trends a bit towards the peppery side, but overall this is very enjoyable.

Bottle durig ABC. Golden color with medium white head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma with oranges, zest, pines. Solid malty base followed by moderate citrus hoppy bitterness. Medium long citrus hoppy bitter finish.
