Description
In May 1867, the Leinenkugel family brewery was founded in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin by Jacob Leinenkugel. He was a family man driven by an iron work ethic, and he knew that his German family heritage would play an integral part of his brewery’s success. Today, the sixth generation of Leinenkugels continues to brew some of the same family-inspired recipes that Jacob poured his heart and soul into. Over the years, our family has grown and so has our brewery, but our history and heritage remain at the forefront.

Both aromas and flavors are dominated by bananas. Decent body and carbonation but again the finish is bananas. One and done if I finish it.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 5/1/21. Clear gold large white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, soap. Mint and grass. Taste is pale malt, muted hops. Thin, watery. Looks good but otherwise very meh.

The aromas in the can are lemon with a little skunky bitter. Flavors are an odd mix of lemon drop candy with generic bitter beer. The skunk doesn't help. Decent carbonation body and lemon drop candy bittersweet finish.

(bottle 0,355l from online shop americanbeer.cz) Overall: Seems like a bad lager. Aroma: Cardboard, light malty sweet. Appearance: Clear, pale golden. Minimal, white head. Taste: Medium sweet, cardboard, light candy/honey, light hay. Palate: Light body. Light dry finish.

Rather light, without the palate of the best bock's. Lightly toasted character.

It's an interesting idea that doesn't quite play out as well as it could have. I haven't infinity for toasty qualities in a good beer. This is okay but not very well balanced. I don't look forward to having another but It was nice to try.

Nutty chocolate malt and fresh hay aroma. Dark brown with large tan head. Moderately sweet nutty chocolate malt and mildly bitter/astringent fresh hay flavor. Good body. Nice.

Pour is a clear mahogany brown with a large tan head. Aroma is toasty sweet brown malt. Flavor is is sweet molasses with a slight toasted malt aftertaste. Nothing really exciting but drinkable with a little more flavor than alot of this brewers beers.

Tall thin can. Initially it pours like a clear pale lager or cider. Nose is mild lemon. First taste is certainly a seltzer, its kind of watery with a touch of beer added. However, the fruity thing, tho not over the top, takes over and the beer is lost in the background. Yes its more of a hard seltzer water than a beer. Not bad, its just that its not really a beer. Go figger. Not sure how much beer is in this but it should probably be not rated as a beer, JMHO. What do you need? 50% beer? Or is it less than that? No ill lager or ale attributes what so ever.

Skinny can. Is this really a beer? I guess so, at 4%. Pours and looks like really lite beer or apple cider. Taste is light and easy. I just noticed a faint friendly nose of fruit. Very good sizzling co2, I like that in a lighter beer. Much better than the average fuir beer, its more like a duller fruited berliner. Quite well balanced and easy drinkin. Smell gets a little artificial in the middle. Somewhat processed feel about it. Not bad overall, refreshing finish. Could drink a few of these.
