Fairly pale golden color with minimal head. Aroma moderately hopped with notes of citrus, flowers, grass - although to say I’m getting that much complexity out of such a restrained aroma is a bit much. Settles into a tart musty, almost orangey aroma. Very little up front, just a bare hint of malt, transitioning into a fairly strong, and pretty unbalanced, hoppy finish. This beer might work well as a lawnmower beer when really cold and drunk out of the bottle. If you pour it and pay attention to it, its just not going to be worth your while. As it warms (just a little) there’s a corny sweetness that arises just a tad. I get a general "pre-proh" lager feel out of this one.

Updated rating: pleasant reddish amber. Body is lighter and fizzier than I recall, but still has a nice caramelized malt presence and clean finish. Unfortunately this beer has been relegated to the kind that is better swilled from the bottle rather than poured into a glass and appreciated.
