12 oz. can from Total Wine - Naples, FL. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a bright white head and fair retention. No lacing. Standard pale lager aroma. Initial bready malt flavor with a clean pale malt finish. Very smooth and easy drinking. Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. No bitterness. A very refreshing everyday lager. More of a golden ale versus a Helles profile.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Naples, FL. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a bright white head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Not much aroma. Very sharp pilsner malt flavor up front, with a medium bitter finish, but not a hoppy flavor. Crisp mouthfeel and good carbonation. Medium-light body. Good example of the style.

Phillies slugged the Reds today. Nine run first inning! Grilling chicken, laundry in the machine, a couple edibles in me. Sunday night on a stunning spring day.

From a can shows up as a off pale hazy orange tinted brew. Smell is very pretty, just like an attractive women's mildly fruity perfume. First taste? A kick in the jaw, nothing like the nose would leave you to believe. Does not taste like the lips of that pretty girl who was wearing the perfume, this stuff just comes across as another dull fruit beer. Actually, I'm quite surprised! Was expecting a mellow tart thing that tastes like raspberry lemonade, a radler shandy perhaps, mind you. But no, this is a typical domestic fruit beer. Smells good, but it's just a big dull fruity whack in the face. It also comes across a little volatile & boozy, like its more near 6% or more. I'm glad it's not fruity and sweet, it's just that it was unexpected from the label and the nose. Overall, tho fruity, it was very difficult to pick out the tase of raspberry and lemon in this.
