Tight white head on a hazy pale golden coloured body. Melon, mango & nectarine aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with a clean back. Mango, nectarine, dry white wine & exotic fruit tastes with a tangy hoppy finish. Nice one.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a dark reddish brown with a lively ubt transient frothy cream head. Raisins to the fore in the aroma, along with hints of chocolate cake. In the mouth, there is an initial hoppy sharpness along with cloying chocolate, toffee and dark fruits. Finish is quite fruity. It’s reasonable, but I would say it’s more of a black IPA than a stout.

Tan head on a Coca-Cola coloured body - quite pale for a Stout. Berries, raisin & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a smooth soft cloying back. Malt, piggy, smoky & chocolate tastes with a tangy fruity finish. Drinkable.

Stouts aint listed o this ca but I suppose its the same recipe and brewed at the same place. I like black lagers and this pounder can is just waiting for me to pop it. Right from the can there is a slight tartness about it. In the glass its big and black and its got a tan craggy head that just keeps going. On the palate it as a decent amount of carbonation to go with it as well. Nose is slightly burnt old damp campfire wood. Taste is fairly mild and easy going, pretty good schwartz but maybe a little more personality than a simple black lager should have. Not bad overall, big thanks shaw!
