Location: Draft at Capital Ale, Innsbrook, 9/9/11
Aroma: The aroma had some malty notes to it, some citrus/lemon, and a bit of spice
Appearance: This brew pours a fizzy golden color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly balanced between the malts and hops, with some lemon/orange, and spice
Palate: The body is fairly light (leaning medium), a touch on the fizzy side, and with a decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Overall, this was a decent offering. It is a balanced beer, and it works pretty well. Some solid stuff. It wasn't my favorite, but I'd drink it again.

Keg at Craft beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, fruity aroma. Taste is quite unexpected, really rich, sweet, malty, dark fruit, hint of chocolate, almost port like. Could not detect any licquorice in there but a really interesting brew indeed.
