On tap at Croma, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with pineapple upfront, a touch of lemon, no notice of the mint, and lacto. Flavour is mostly a function of the pineapple — I don't really notice the lemon or mint. It's a fruity, cheap kettle sour, but drinkable enough.

On tap at Croma, pours a cloudy dull golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of tropical fruits, some overripe notes, citrus, and lacto. Flavour is very tropical and citrusy, with lemony tropical fruits and lacto. Not complex but it works for what it is.

On tap at Croma, pours a clear bright orange Fanta-like colour with no head. Aroma is full of rotting watermelon notes upfront, a hint of grape, and lacto. Flavour is just not a good combination of flavours — there's semi-rotting watermelon, light strawberry, and a touch of grape. A bit yogurty on the palate. Not great at all.

On tap at Croma, pours a hazy bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of orange zest, some resinous hops, and caramel malt. Flavour is all over the place, with clumsy citrusy hop bitterness, caramel, and loads of orange marmalade. Completely incompetent, unrefined. As much of a disaster as it can be without being infected.

On tap at Croma, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some unfermented wort, piney hops, and bready malt. Flavour is rather dull, with that unfermented wort character, earthiness, and stale bready malt. This needs a fair bit of work.

On tap at Croma, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose has some unfermented wort, light grassiness, and biscuity malt. Flavour is clean, with restrained grassy hops, biscuity malt, and some unfermented wort. Needs more hops, more crispness and more bite. But it's okay.

Rated at Platinum Beer Lounge - Viikki Branch HQ. Roasty, dry earthy and slightly tartish with hints of bourbony wood and oaky notes, licorice and coffee. Feels a bit off, perhaps past its prime

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of wood, funk, citric rind. Taste is tart, sour, lemon rind, woody, vanilla, funky, gin, with some buttery bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry soured finish. Quite drinkable.

28/3/2024. Can from Beerdome online store. Pours thick black with minimal beige head. Aroma is rich, dark chocolate, roasted, cinnamon, chocolate cake, pepper, touch of liquorice. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Full bodied, very smooth, low carbonation. Some boozy peppery warmth comes through to finish. Luxurious stuff.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 27/03/24. Pitch black with a tan head that veers to the edge of the glass. Nose is dark malts, bourbon, jammy red berries, chocolate melt, molasses, light booze tunes. Taste comprises ripe old bourbon bite, spice, toffee, molasses, chocolate, dates, figs, toasted brown sugars. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost allied to a cloak of bourbon. Solid decadent and punchy BA impy stout.
