Reddish-purple. Interesting berry character…mostly jabuticaba with a little blackberry. Comes out balanced, light tartness, big fruit.

Dark brown, medium head. Rich dark sugars on this one. Alcohol comes through, lots of chocolate, not much maple (at least, not after just having Monkey Night). Hard to pick out specific ingredients because it all comes through as chocolate. But it’s excellent stout. Rich, decadent, full of yum.

Very dark brown, medium head. Aroma kicks off the maple syrup, a bit of chocolate and I can only presume to be the banana raisin…I guess a semi-dried banana thing they do here. On the palate, gorgeous dark sugars…that’s lovely. Creamy body, subtle accents of banana and maple and a hint of alcohol in the finish. Okay this is good shit. Great base beer and has that something special, which I’m pretty sure is the banana passa.

Well this comes out murky and frothy, typical I guess. Colour is a bleh kind of beigish browny white grey thing. Trub-tastic. But that’s about right for the fruits that are in here. I mean it looks like desiccated bunghole but it’s to style so is a 1 even fair? Big fruit nose, lots of passionfruit in particular. Quite tart, big fruit but again maracuja dominates.

Pale, hazy, but dull colour. Fairly thick head. Soft body, but the hop expression isn’t all that abundant. Definitely want to kick this up a notch.

Dull beige, slight haze, fairly thick head. Medium bitterness, some alcohol in the finish. Malts edging towards gloppy, hop expression maybe a bit of orange…but not as powerful as I might have expected.

Pale yellow, slight haze. Medium head. Nice hop bitterness…malts are fairy clean. Soft lemony, honeydew hop note.

Bright, amber, with a fairly thick head. Orangey hop nose, clean biscuity malt base, relatively low bitterness for the style. Hops do take on a touch of pine as well. Not bad, would prefer a bit more hop bite.

Starting the weekend with a hazy. A rather fine hazy, actually! Soft, smooth and hoppy, with lots of sweet tropical fruityness. Little bit one dimensional, but a rather pleasant dimension.
