Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen, opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Black with a very thin head. Its colour is about as 'stout' as this gets as the blackcurrant in here dominates its taste, is sweet, tastes a bit like the stuff you give to kids as the alcohol in here isn't too apparent either despite its strength.

Can shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017. Cheers! Pours crystal clear, pale yellow with a frothy, white head. The nose holds crisp cereal and light paper. Light sweet flavour with yet more cereal and paper, minimal hop presence. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly drying finish. Just OK.
