(bottle, 65cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly papery corny, somewhat malty aroma with hints of rubber. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Doughy and corny taste with shades of grassy hops; mildly sweet finish with a restrained level of bitterness. Poor. 01.IX.14

60cl Bottle: from Beers of Europe, opened on 12th Aug 2014 and shared with my son. Pours the typical light golden colour you would expect from a Pale Lager, same non-lasting white head too. Mid-range in hop and maltiness for the style, next to no aroma (also true to style). Slight corn feel to the overall flavour with some sweetness and not a bad example of a global beer type.

60cl bottle at Berlin bierfestival. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Mild grainy aroma with some strange notes, possibly sorghum. Not much hops to speak of. Hardly very interesting, but drinkable on a hot day.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with quite some white head which settles down very quickly. The aroma is malty with some grains also picked up. The taste is light, watery, mostly malty and quite grassy. OK, but nothing special.

The beer starts smooth, malty, not too thin, easy to drink. The mainpart is malty with nutty-herbal hints, fresh, smooth. The aftertaste is medium, not too watery, slightly sweet, slightly grainy, fresh-malty. Nice! 10/12/8/8

60 cl bottle, BB 29072014 3206566Q0454
Pale golden in the glass, grainy-sharp nose. The beer starts malty, smooth. A bit malty-earthy-dry in the mainpart (how does Sorghum-malt taste? Probably this taste is it?). The aftertaste is slightly bitter, crisp and dry. Some nice earthy components, a dry bitterness stais with hints of grain on the tongue.
Not a bad brew for a Pale Lager --> 10/12/9/9

Bottle, 60 cl, shared by nilsas. It pours a dark reddish brown body, clear, and topped by a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. Lots of chocolate in the aroma, coffee, roasted malts and a faint alcohol touch too. Some prunes. The flavor has lots of chocolate and roasted malts, some dried fruits. A little bitterness chiming in as well. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level, pretty soft. Lasting roasted finish with a solid dose of chocolate. Iām sure I could survive some days in Nigeria. 140305

Fungerer sikkert helt flott rundt ekvator.

Bottle from Toby, out of date, but who cares. Clear gold lasting white head. Only slightly oxidised aroma, but mostly wet cardboard. A little bit of lemon and some ok lemon flavour but mostly like licking a wet copy of the Evening Standard.
