Big boii bottle from Gidi Grill, Aberdeen. It pours clear yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy white bread, rich tea biscuit, toasty grain and cereal. The taste is crispy, dryish, bitter - sweet, grain, rich tea biscuits, cereal, slightly, and sugary vibes with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the BIG Tesco near Hackney Central. Pours perfectly clear honey-gold with a lasting, frothy white head. Lightly sweet with some papery pale biscuits, a little sheet metal, dirty hay, fresh cabbage, nips of apple. Light in body, thankfully, with moderate carbonation. Low-key sweetness to finish, some further subtle green apple notes, paper, hay. It’s not great but it’s just on the OK side of inoffensive.

11.15 oz. can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a white head and good retention. Minimal spots of lacing. Strong vegetal aroma. Sweet corn syrup and vegetal flavor mixed with pale malts. Not so good, but I don’t know what choices you have in Nigeria. Medium body and medium carbonation with a slick mouthfeel. Not bitter. Check.

28/6/2023. Bottle courtesy of Mia’s Nigerian adventure. Pours clear golden with a short lasting frothy white head. Aroma of malt, stewed fruits, grain, caramel, slight veggie edge. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with better balance than other Nigerian lagers I’ve tried. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Not bad.
