Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy dark amber beer. Residual off white head. Softish palate, semi dry. A little fresh malt and a nice amount of fresh hop. Piney hop. Also has a minty coolness - a little spice? Hoppy finish, moderately bitter. Alright!

Bottle at Arendsnest. Clear dark red brown beer with a big fluffy ivory tan head. Attractive - but hardly looks like a pale ale! Crisp dry palate. Crisp malt, slightly dark flavoured. A bare whsiper of cherry. Hop bitterness kicks in with a carbonated sting on the tail. Decent malty beer but I had to laugh at the Pale Ale label!

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Itβs a clear, dark golden to amber beer, topped by a small, white head. The aroma has a touch of sourness, but itβs mostly fruity and hoppy. The flavor has the same sourness, but here as well the fruityness and bitterness from the hops dominate. Medium body, quite dry. Lasting bitterness in the end. A quite decent one, suspect itβs better fresh. 110319

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark amber beer with a dense, off-white head. Slighlty milky on the nose, with dried fruits, caramel and some fruity hops. Sort of unpleasant flavor, milky sour, with caramel and sour berries. Some dark dried fruits too. Pleasant bitterness towards the end. Medium body, quite dry. Lasting finish with a fine bitterness, but also some of that unpleasant milkyness. Well, sure off, but not awful. 110319
