Tap @ Cafe Albert. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, wood, raisin, Rum, whisky. Flavor is rather sweet, roast malt, caramel, chocolate, wood, sweet dried fruit, raisin, Rum, spirits. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. Pours black, no real head. Scent is juicy, full , chocolate, vanilla. Syrup ! roasty JWB goodness. Taste is full, intense chocolate, syrupy. Mild boozyness (better balanced than the base, to me). Vanilla shines trough nicely, but isn't OP . lovely beer indeed, I liked it just a pinch more than the base.

Pours black, small ring of tanned head. Scent is intense, roast, mildly booze. Coffee and chocolate. Medium barrel profile (Bourbon leads the way) . Taste is full, roasty, sweet, JWB thickness ! Louder than usual on the BA booze. Chewy. Nice roasty and chocolate finish. Lovely, but what else would be expected ?

Bottle. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong banana, cocoa, roast, vanilla bean, cookie. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, boozy, very good.

Think Wakefield did WFB dirty here. Not hazy at all. Tad fruity, malty. Really unconvincing. Color is off. Not oxidized. Just not what it should be. Must be that Miami wooder.

Pint can, WW. Dark brown with a small beige-tan head. Roasted malt, light smoke, caramel nose. Molasses, caramel, cocoa, light char, wood, roast. Nice.
