0,33l bottle at home. BB 10/2016. dark brown color, small off-white head. smells sour, citric, light leathery, spices, some barnyard. ok but weird smell (definitly not on style). medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly sour, licorice, caramel, lightly citric, bitter almonds, marzipan, some sweetness. finishes a bit dry and acidic with some marzipan and light fruity sour notes. overall decent but sour where its not supposed to be.

330 ml bottle got at Austrian Beer Challenge.
Copper, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, light beige head.
Aroma of dried fruits, red berries, almonds, caramel, some bread, slight tea.
Tastes of almond, red and dark berries, dried fruits, flowers, caramel, some dark bread, some tea.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes bitter-sweet, a bit alcoholic, fruity, malty, a bit floral, a bit hoppy.
Very nice. Quite unique Doppelbock, with a lot of fruity and also some hoppy notes. Very well balanced, although with a lot of sweet notes, never too sweet overall. Also drinks quite easy for the style. Feels a bit like a Doppelbock with a Red Ale twist.

Bottle. Very strong malty aroma, caramel, biscuity, toffee. Almost clear orange-amber colour. Taste is caramelly and sweetish, yet thin bodied. Weird and not charming.

330 ml bottle at Austrian Beer Challenge.
Amber-copper, clear body, with a quite small, unstable, creamy, ofd-white head.
Aroma of vegetables, toast, citrus, butter, grass, honey.
Taste follows this, with some more tangerine notes.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes flat, with vegetables, grass, citrus, sweet malts.
Pretty bad. Really unclean or even infected, with dominant unpleasant vegetable notes. Not much Pale Ale character.
