Opaque colour, small brownish head. Roasted hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Roasted and quite bitter flavour. Solid more traditional imperial stout. Good.

Canned at PBF. Black, beige head. Aroma of licorice and marzipan. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, licorice, coffee and tobacco. Lingering very bitter finish.

PBF XV. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, sweet chocolate syrup, some mild spiciness and some toffeeish tones. Flavour is spiciness, some dried fruits, chocolate, spices and mild alcohol sweetness to it. Bitter. But also sweet.

16 oz can to the glass at Kegel’s Inn in West Allis, Wisconsin for a Friday fish fry. The pour is a dark brown amber with a touch of a limited light tan head. The aroma is light toasty malt grain. The taste is slightly sweet caramel malt along with nice earth mineral and finishes dry with mineral. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the clean mineral finish.

Junction Road store. Aromas are malt, spices, pumpkin and roast. Flavors are similar to nose, mild sweetness dominates with a little bitter, carbonation and spices to balance. Maybe there's some bourbon barrel in there somewhere? Nothing too special.
