Aromas are mildly sweet pale malt with a hint of hops. Flavors are similar to nose, good balance between sweet, bitter and carbonation. If I was to do a blind comparison between this and a similar pilsner I'd be hard-pressed to guess which was which. Nice drinkable beer.

Tap at DU. Hefty, thick body. Grainy, crackery edges. Rather bold, but doesn't have a real world Class tone or feel,somewhere in between I suppose. Deep malt tones which I enjoy. OK.

Aromas are mild and balanced toast, caramel and fruit. Flavors are similar to nose, starting off again with good balance between street, bitter and carbonation. Not much depth. Finishes on the sweet side.

Keg at Bazil’s, 2/25/23. Dark red, large white head, average retention. Aroma of wheat, caramel, stone fruit. Taste is wheat, spice, stone fruit, caramel. Crisp, lingering spice.

Pours black with a finger of tan foam, look at all that lacing.
The smell is loaded with chocolate, roasted malt, bits of coffee and vanilla, with some nutty notes.
The taste matches the smell. Nice bits of sweetness that kinda balances the coffee and dark chocolate. Must be, as per the label, the candi sugar. Very damn tasty.
Full bodied with lowish carbonation, I get none of the alcohol and that's scary.

Dang, that is a red pour, over a finger of foam, oodles of lacing.
The smell is caramel malt, citrus hops, cracker malt is there. Sweet and bitter is what I am expecting in the taste.
Nice hop forward but with a solid caramel and cracker malt taste. The citrus stands out really well so despite not being dated, I have no doubts that this is fresh.
Very smooth mouthfeel and the alcohol is well hidden to me.
