16oz can. Appearance-wise, it isn't really a hazy or NE IPA. Sweet, underattenuated feel that I get in all their beers. A pretty straightforward West Coast IPA with some juicy hop tone, perhaps a touch of wheat in there or something that fleshes the malt out. Drinkable, but not that good for the style.

Interesting beer. Aromas are kind of funky but flavors do get a hint of black walnut with plenty of black patents and malt, and so roast and molasses. Don't know where Belgian fits in. Decent Imperial Stout overall.

Decent enough pale ale and probably the best beer that I've had from this brewery. Aromas are fresh grassy hops with hints of resin and some pale malt. Flavors are like nose with a little more citrus, nice balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Good body and finish. But nothing very distinctive.

The aromas are toffee and toasty malt. Flavors are a lot like nose. Nice balance between bittersweet and toasty malt. Body is a touch thin as well as carbonation slightly aggressive. Nice beer though. I like the more traditional oktoberfests like this.

The Aromas are pale malt, grass, and herbs. Flavors are like nose, slightly more sweet than bitter with sweeter at the beginning and a little more bitter towards the end. Good carbonation but hops are very low key.

Growler from Lakefront. Deeper than typical black body, rather huge beige head. Drinks as much like a Black Ale as a Dunkelweizen or Doppelbock. I bought it hoping it was brewed at Lakefront, as I suspect they would nail the style, but this was clearly made at Raised Grain; sort of an amateurish unattenuated feel, sloppy recipe, gimmicky name. Drinkable, but sort of lacks much wheat character. Too much specialty malt, not enough finesse.
