Description
At the gates of Belgium and Luxembourg, a few kilometers from Stenay, in the village of Mouzay, the Charmoy brewery run by Alain Bonnefoy puts all its know-how for 10 years at the service of quality and taste. It brews with grain from its own production. Charmoy's beer is made with grain and yeast from the Orval brewery in Belgium.

This craft brewery installed in the enclosure of the Château de Charmois brings its ideal of beer to life by the diversity of its recipes and its high standards in the selection of quality raw materials. Today she brews a range of craft beers with unique personalities and invites you to rediscover the pleasures of beer.

33cl bottle from Bureau d'Information Touristique de Doulcon, France. F: medium, white, quickly diminishing. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, banana, apples, honey, floral, bit bready. T: medium malty base, banana, bit herbal, bready, honey touch, decent bitterness, soft carbonation, bit caramel, toast, ok for this boring style, partially enjoyed.

33cl bottle from Bureau d'Information Touristique de Doulcon, France. F: big, tan, good retention. C: deep amber to coppery, hazy. A: malty, bit berries, light brett but in a good way, bit caramel, strawberries. T: medium malty base, light fruity, brett touch, bit bready, nice balanced bitterness, red berries touch, bit infected like but in a good way, enjoyed.

Bottle @ Le Windsor, Verdun. Pours hazy amber / copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and yeast, with notes of hops. Booze in the long nose. Sourish flavour with notes of hops and yeast and fruity touches. Metallic and sourish aftertaste. Unbalanced. Not off, just bad.
