On tap at The Globe. Slightly brown black pour with thin tan head. Aroma is wet dank hops with some burnt coffee grounds. Taste follows - nice hoppiness but some musty dankness reminiscent of some English Black IPA’s I’ve tried. Not bad but wouldn’t get again.

2013-10-31, bottle from Loco Liquor in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg, 8-5-8-5-17=43
Golden color, clean, with generous compact head; nice lace. The hop aroma is very fresh and intense, fruity, with plenty of tropical fruits, pineapple and passion fruit are evident, and a late pungent addition. The mouthfeel is lean like an APA, with a good toffee flavor, very dry; strong bitterness with a good tropical fruit component and later some piney resins, light astringency.
Excellent.
2013-10-27, draught at Wolf Pack, Johannesburg, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Hazy light amber color. The aroma is fresh and with plenty of citrusy hops. Good dry and crispy toffee flavor with citrusy hopping, strong bitterness.

Bottle shared by Nir at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Nir! Deep golden with a stable white head. Wonderful hoppy aroma full of tropical fruits and "green" weedy notes. Bitter hoppy flavor with lots of citrus, tropical fruits, light maltiness and a bitter finish, piney and grapefruity. Medium-bodied. A very good IPA.

Flavor has a bit of malt sweetness, yeast, some spiciness, floral notes, some fruitiness and a dry and mildly bitter finish. Medium-bodied. OK. Pretty light.

Bottle at Deanso’s crappy music tasting. Poured a clear amber with a broken white head. The aroma is floral and hoppy, The flavour is hugely hoppy, refreshing, light and very enjoyable. One of the best beers from SA. Could have been brewed by Brewdog.
