Bottle sampled at Gouda Winterbier festival. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of wort, roast, wheat, grain and strangely so major sweetcorn! Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts malty and dry, not too roasty, quite moldy and oxidized. Tastes like 3 years old. Metallically finish. Terrible!

bottle from Bierkoning - thanks! Cloudy brown colour, beige head. Aroma of cocoa. Very chocolatey, the shy sourness in the far background making the lingual image of cocoa beans even livelier. Quite low carbonation, unfortunately, but impressive chocolate flavours.
