Draught Small but reasonably resistent yellowish-tan head over darker red-brown beer. Dark bread, sweeter malts, slightly ketjap, if drier. Sweet dark bread, sweet dark malts, bit roasted chestnuts, dark green leaves. Better bodied than either Dunkel or Schwarz usually are. Quite slick. Interesting take on the style(s) (beer is both described as Dunkel and Schwarz) by the brewery, and on top of that it is qua roast almost porter-like. Quite drinkable in any case.

0.33 l bottle from 'Meraner Weinhaus', best before August 2024. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral aroma of honey, apricot and some corn flakes. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of honey, corn flakes, porridge, apricot and citrus, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very decent NA beer.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, orange golden colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Minimally soapy, floral-herbal aroma, notes of basil, a touch of bath salt, oregano, widely disguised, pale malty background. Taste is initially minimally soapy, floral-herbal, notes of basil, later (No Alcohol typical) minimally doughy yeasty and slightly bready, pale malty, a touch of crisp bread; merge of bready and herbal aspects in the chiefly watery finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, slightly scattered, prickly carbonation.
