Deep gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of coriander, pepper, citrus and apple juice. Taste is less interesting although that’s not unexpected given the style: very mildly bitter with a light sweetness at the finish. Light-bodied, watery texture, lacks enough crispness to feel refreshing. Not bad for the style though.

Short handy 0,33 l bottle purchased at the source today. Darkest copper and not black in the glass, huge pale beige head. Smells dark malty, caramel, some nuts and sweetness. Taste starts dark malty, choco, roasty nuts, present bitter hop. Caramel background. Long lasting dark bitterness in the aftertaste. Again a nice one from Pfefferlechner.

Short handy 0,33 l bottle purchased at the brewpub today. Cloudy pale golden in the glass with a more than two finger white foamy head. Grain with bitterhop and some hay on the nose. Taste starts with spicy grain, hay and caramel. Pleasant bitterhop, some citrus and bisquit. Nice one.

Cute long 0,2 l glass on tap at Berggasthof Gsteier. Cloudy fat golden with a more than one finger white head in the glass. Smooth grainy on the nose. Taste is malty with caramel. Some present bitter hop. Mid carbonated. Nice.
