500ml can bought in some random shop in Walthamstow, London. Poured into two ’Veltins Pilsner’ badged stemmed tulips on 1 Apr 2013. Usual pilsner/lager look: golden, bright, clean and clear with a fading white head. The aroma is semi-sweet grains, as is the taste. Wasn’t expecting much from this but I quite enjoyed it. Refreshing and with a pleasing alcoholic bite to the hop bitterness and malty sweetness. Suited my sweet toothed idea of how a lager/pilsner should taste like.

50cl can shared with Joes. Clear golden color, small white head that diminishes instantly. Smell malts and sweetness. Taste malts, lightly grainy, sweetness, slightly bitter towards the end. Mwah, not very good.

Canned (thanks Kim N!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, mild floral notes as well as some slight grains and mild strange sweetness. Flavour is rather similar with some slight bready notes as well.

Ich fand dieses Bier nicht übel. Es hatte einen schönen, vollen Körper und einen hefig-getreidigen Charakter. Auch wenn es nicht allzu aromatisch rüberkommt, so macht es das für mich fein süffig und gemütlich.

Off-white head, fast receding over metallic yellow-golden beer. Meaty, broth, milky, yeastesters, and dusty chaff. Sweet-malty, pale malts; despite some sweetness a fairly clean taste. Gets dul-sweet after a while. Rather thin-bodied, medium carbonation. Not the worst of the Polish lagers - not by half.
