Description
Welcome To Sapwood Cellars

We are dually focused on barrel-aged mixed-fermented beers and fresh hoppy ales. Founded on our shared passions for brewing science, delicious flavors, and the craft of beer production, we brew beers that are balanced, drinkable, and highly aromatic without tongue-scraping bitterness or piercing sourness. Beer should be a pleasure to savor, not a challenge to conquer!

Nice roasted coffee stout. Sapwood have really impressed me, and have again. Thanks JD! Attempt at a palate cleanser after that Troon. See how it compares to Monkish.

Nose is quite awful, but once you get past that, it's a utterly brilliant milkshake. No lactose, however, there's macadamia nut milk. Wonderful change of pace, and the banana is lovely. A hefe, milkshake IPA hybrid. Lovely. Thanks JD!

Roasty, tad boozy. Pairs well with a shot of Tully and a poor film: Kong vs Godzilla. Would rather watch Tottenham draw Newcastle a third time than this crap. Thanks JD!

(Thanks, Andy! Nimbleprop) Can. A- Roasty, malt, coffee. A- Black color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Malted milk balls, coffee, roasty, mild caramel. P- Medium body, creamy texture, slightly flat carbonation, balanced finish. O- As close as I had to an Irish beer for St. Patty's day. I really appreciate the amount of flavor in this light of a stout. Kinda a nice break from big pastry stouts. Lots of roasted coffee and malted chocolate milk throughout.
