$5.00 pint can, WW. Thick, black, small brown head. Coconut, roasted malt, chocolate, light smoke, vanilla nose. Flavor is sweet coconut, caramel, chocolate; vanilla, coffee bean. Very sweet, but not sickly. However, too sweet for me. Good flavor... I'm sipping this one for awhile.

Fairly hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a good, two centimetre tall light tan head - all about 60 per cent opaque. Aroma of flowers, lactose, a dash of citrus, a nice yeast and rather strong malty and almost nutty scent. Medium-bodied; Strong rich malts dominate the flavour at first with flowers, grain and a light earthy bite, but those tastes give way fairly quickly to the floral and grassy hop flavours and a more pronounced fruity and citrusey finish, all with a good deal of sugars, but the bitterness and balance are both strong and enjoyable. Aftertaste shows a pleasant balance of sweetness (from the tropical fruits/citrus) and hop bitterness - very nicely structured and somehow irrelevant of the malt and alcohol components. Overall, a very nice IPA that shows the NorthEast IPA components in a sweet, yet still bitter (old school IPA-ish) way. Nice to sample and recommended! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 18-October-2019 for US$4,13 sampled at home in Washington on 29-November-2019.

$4.10 pint can, WW. Murky gold with a small off-white head. Orange, grapefruit peel, light funk nose. Flavor is odd. Orange peel, lime zest, rotting peach, light pine. There's something in here that's unappealing. Light carbonation, makes it feel slightly flat.

$4.60 pint can, WW. Will I regret a second imperial stout tomorrow? I dunno, but it feels so right tonight. Thick pour, nearly black, small brown head. Pecan, chocolate, baby shit, caramel, chocolate candy nose. Flavor is sweet pecan, cocoa, chocolate candy, caramel. Really sweet... tastes somewhat artificial (though not cheap). Not exactly cloying, but this is too sweet for me.
