Hazy deep copper coloured body with a thick, foamy white head, about six centimetres tall at first with a lot of extra carbonation and a nice hazy glow of copper, but the head fades fast. Aroma of yeast, alcohol, light malts, earth, some subdued sugars and very little else, aside from the yeast. Medium-bodied; Strong wheat and pungent flavour from the grain with a little bitterness from yeast, earth and alcohol along with some deep bitterness and no real hop notes at all in here. Aftertaste shows some yeast, wheat along with alcohol and very little in terms of real complexity or deep flavours. Overall, a pretty mild offering with a lot of carbonation, but aside from that, fairly little else and only a touch of earth and yeast with sugars on the side. Not worth trying at all, even somehow if you love Amber Ales and you are somehow looking at Ratings or checking this site in general. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wine, Cheese & More in Chincoteague, Virginia on 28-May-2017 for US$1,89 sampled at home in Washington on 17-December-2017.

Fairly hazy golden coloured body with a large-ish, four centimetre tall pure white head that leaves a pretty ugly lace on the glass. Aroma of grass, acidic hops, some bitter elements from grass to hay and showing some light fruit and resin as well, but a subdued malt flavour or complexity. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and dry flavour with a bit of a resinous and herbal flavour at the beginning with a good deal of malt and balance a littler further out, that also has some grain and funk up front. Aftertaste shows fairly well, the balance is about right, but this isn’t something to search out for on a trip. Overall, a nicely balanced beer with some decent hop profiles, but no real density of complexity at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wine, Cheese and More in Chincoteague, Virignia on 28-May-2017 with the bottle purchased for US$3,65. sampled at home in Washington on 24-June-2017.

Sawdust, hay, and dandelion aroma. Hazy copper, thin yellow head, good lacing. Light maltiness that builds to relatively, yet subdued dandelion finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Rather like an English Golden, save for the color. Very sessionable and clean, but not super exciting.
