Gold colour, just a touch of haze. Pale malt, just a touch bready, light bugs on the palate, mellow malt. A hint of wood in the finish. Wouldn’t mind this a touch drier but can’t fault the execution.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a hazy bright red with a small white head. Aroma expresses lots of gently tart cherries upfront, followed by rustic notes and some bugs. Flavour is buggy and fruity in the most cohesive of ways, with a great yeast profile, perfect incorporation of cherries, and light oak. What a great expression of fruit and yeast. Expert brew.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is full of chocolate, with a little cinnamon, and gentle farmhouse notes. Flavour is indeed like a chocolate version of Rankin: there's whiskey barrels, farmhouse funk, chocolate, and light cinnamon. Somehow, this works beautifully. Very good.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a clear copper amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma has a nice aged character, with plenty of oak and some pleasant copper notes. Flavour follows through with that old character: there's lots of oak, rustic farmhouse character, and light bugginess. Oaky, rustic and farmhouse-y. Very well-done bire de garde.

Tasting at Salesforce
Black colour, persistent beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, bourbon, and some sour fruit. Good body strength, it's fairly dry, a bit too much carbonation; roasted malts, but without excess, and burnt sugars, some booze, some yeast action, funk, mild sourness.
Fairly good.

750ml @ Sales Force. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: some bourbon, some fruity acidity, inky, some chocolate notes. Taste: along the same lines, low acidity, lots of roasted malts and fruity notes. Overall: pretty good for the farmhouse stout.
