16 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a white head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Soft bread and yeast aroma. The flavor follows the nose: Light bready flavor with slightly above average yeast notes. Decent, but not my favorite take on the style. Medium body and medium carbonation. Low bitterness.

Murky purplish red in the glass with a purplish tinged head. Nose is fresh blueberries and a hint of lemon. Flavor very similar with a tiny hint of cinnamon, I'm failing to find the vanilla beans. Lightly sour, semi-sweet, not sure the blueberry flavors are working here. Kinda gross.

Well its a hazy. Pale white-gold color, quite opaque, decent foamy head. Nose seems mainly tropical fruit, a hint of pineapple and guava. Faint sweat sock. Lightly juicy palate with a sweat-sock pineapple hop flavoring. Finishes with minimal bitterness, pineapple and grapefruit juice aftertaste, maybe a touch of resin. Semi dry, a hint of white-bread malt flavors.

So I didn't order this with any enthusiasm sitting at the bar at World of Beer, but the rest of the tap selection didn't excite me much so the hazy IPA category was the only one with variety. So typical these days. And what I mean is I don't particular love these juicy/hazy things. Many are lame with weird watery mouthfeels and no bitterness to go with harsh or astringent hop flavors. So that's a lot to get around to saying that I was pleased with this one, a rare example of when things go right. This one had a really nice hop profile that mixed citrus and tropical fruit aromatics and flavors without any astringency or grassiness. It was also not completely lacking bitterness, though it was overall on the medium-low side. Very hazy pour (bartender said it was a fresh keg). On the whole I found it quite drinkable. Not much to say about the malt profile, just a dry bread thing going on there. These beers still are ugly though.

Roast and chocolate, some coconut. Milk sugar is pretty strong here, seems unnecessary. A little booze and caramel. Black pour with quickly dissipating head. A little coffee. Bittersweet and boozy end. Can.

Interesting beer. Poured a nice cloudy yellow gold color with a decent foaming head. Nose is heavy on those tropical fruits, mainly the pineapple. Flavor is similar, sour and funky with pineapple up front but a lingering coconut aftertaste is there for sure. Semi-sweet profile, fairly good degree of tartness. Medium bodied. Moreish is a word I don't like to use much, but seems like something to say here - although given that the medium bodied mouthfeel feels a bit too much for a beer like this, maybe I don't want too much more. I'd like to see this with a heavier carbonation, its starts to drink a bit like pineapple juice. Is that what the kids like these days? Beer that is juicy cuz this is bordering on it.

Bright notes of passion fruit, grapefruit, lychee, and peach, underlined by minerals, earth, and mild sweetness. Finishes with lingering pine and citrus pith. Not bad, but slightly astringent.
