Tastes exactly like Miami (minus the blow and hoes). First sips were awesome but ends up being a liiittle too much orange zest. Still, the honey finish is welcome and the hops are great: 1st time hearing of kazbek. Curious what they’d taste like isolated.

Beautiful hazy golden and orange coloured body with a thin tan head on top, that fades very quickly and leaves almost nothing up there or on the sides. Aroma of oranges, citrus fruit, light pine and grapefruit with some pineapple and lactose noticeable, with a good deal of both alcohol and malt, too. Medium-bodied; Rich orange, tangerine and especially grapefruit flavour dominates with a light dry malt note and some slightly peppery notes with a herbal and grassy finish with a bit of the creamy lactose note along with a tiny dose of alcohol pungency and warmth. Aftertaste shows the deep citrus flavours but some of the dry and astringent malt, alcohol and lactose notes that don't give this a great finish and instead focus on the creamy, slightly cloyingly sweet and dry funkiness that isn't attributable to the hops - sort of odd for THIS style, specifically. Overall, not as good as I had hoped for, especially for going to the Sun & Miami in a few hours to escape the cold and Washington. Still, nice to try fresh on a beautiful Christmas Day here in our Nation's Capital. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park), New York on 19-December-2020 for US$5,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on Christmas Day 2020, 25-December-2020.

Can at home. The styling and coloration of SunLabs cans is perfect for a Miami brewer. Nose is melon and spices. Tastes peppery, honey dew, pineapple, green apple sown herbal notes. Sweet finish. Ok

Can (9/21/20) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with no sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is fairly strong mango and light citrus, honeydew with surprisingly strong sweet malts (cake batter?). Taste is somewhat strange sweet, rich honeydew mixing with sweet malts, along with some pepper spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation with mild astringency, and finish as taste. Overall, some complexity here but the elements don't all complement each other that well. Needs a little tweaking.

16 oz. can. 09/21/20 born on date. Aroma is some tropical fruit with a tad of perfume. Flavor has a good amount of fruit with a touch a perfume toward the back. Good mouthfeel. I am able to drink it just fine and will give this brewery benefit of the doubt since my 1st impression of them.
