Pours unclear blonde. Soapy, instantly fading white head. Scent is surprisingly hoppy (truth be told, I waited to long for a session IPA to drink this, hence the surprise) No real pepper givewaway - and for sure not in this extremety. Floral, yellow fruits. Taste is ... quite damn spiced indeed. Don't be fooled, they aren't talking big here, they're quite serious. Overwhelming any and all other aspects, the pepper take the lead, as well as the backseat. A very nice heath, I may add, I really like the peppers they used here. But even than so, it's not really possible to take another sip - this is to intense to be drinkable. Lovely experiment, and if going for extremes, absolutely nailed it. WIthout it being bad, which is a very nice feature. However, this is a can to share with many, many people. Or, as I am currently doing, to pour in pasta souce / soup instead of peppers. The beer won't be lost ;) Happy to have tried it, but even with sufficient amounts of creamy cheese, the spicyness lingered for about 15-30 minutes. I would definately buy again, to serve in glasses to unexpecting people. You have been warned !
Also , don't take this score to seriously, it's hard to score. I genuinly think this beer deserves at least 7.5 on aroma (very well for a session IPA) and taste (lovely peppers used), so I tuned down the overall to come closer to the 6/10 I had in mind. But even with a 3.5 on Overall, it scores a 6.4... Anyway, overall, this beer would score far higher (succeeded in the extremeness of the experiment) . It's just that I can't rate this beer too high, since it was phisically impossible to take multiple sips. Just go ahead and try this (if still around) and ignore this score !
