Dark brown colour, moderate sized creamy beige head; aroma of coconut, chocolate mousse, some nougat, candied almond, cinnamon, dairy cream, capuccino and even slight dried sour cherry; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with more intensive sour cherry and some over-roasted nutty-burnt bittery notes; amazing one!!!!

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is citrus, fruity hop, orange, grass, light pale malt, citrus zest. Flavour is moderate bitter with low sweetness. Medium body. Decent, citrus-specific, lacks a little depth.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Very woody with oak chips, dark malt, booze, fruity with red grape, cognac, chocolate. Medium sweet, long woody finish. Pretty smooth, soft, caramel, chocolate. Interesting rakija aromas, good!

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet and oaky aroma with lots of pear, some alcohol, dark malt, more wood, pear syrup, light Pretty sweet with lots of pear in the finish. Peary nice.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is coconut upfront with tropical fruits, stone fruit, peach. Fairly sweet flavour with a light to mild bitterness. Medium body. Dig the coconut, bit too sweet and flavored.

Can at the flat in Sofia - picked up from 100 Beers. Pours murky gold with a creamy, pure white head. It’s readily apparent that a lot of hops died in the making of this beer. Medium sweet, super thick and dank, lot of mango and papaya, mellow rindy bitterness, a whisper of pine needles, some orange peel. Medium bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Mellow warmth in the finish, more rich and dank southern hem hops, loads of tropical fruits, purée. Tastes very fresh. Pretty impressive.

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from 100 Beers. Here it is, rating #500 for Bulgarian beers. Took about 14 years. The first few years were very slow going, mostly scouring supermarkets for macro ticks. Finally, in the early/mid 2010s, craft breweries start popping up. And the past few years have been great scooping. This beer pours black-brown with a billowing, frothy beige head. Medium to big sweet flavour with sturdy roast, faintly tangy semi-dried dark fruits, a little peat, raisins, black coffee, booze. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, some burnt sugars, torched barrel, more raisins, accents of black coffee, chocolate, earth, peat. Punchy but actually pretty drinkable, just a little raw. Quite enjoyable.
