Bottle from Brian picked up in Cambodia/Chiang Mai area. 6.8% Brewed in Vientiane, Laos. Served in a snifter. A dark cola looking brown pour has a thin quickly dissipating head. The aroma is deep rich plum, figs and toffee and candied fruit. Very intense dark fruit aroma. Medium-thin bodied, possibly a bit too thin. The taste is savoury, dark fruits, then bitter dark chocolate, a touch roasty, soy and coffee grinds. Really interesting and quite a tasty stout from an unexpected part of the world~!

Can. Aroma pineapple, honeyish malt, very light hops. Clear yellow colour. Taste is watery, metallic, very light pineapple, stale hops. Drinkable but poor nonetheless.

Can thanks to Cuso. Aroma is plain, but honest. Has real dark malts, roasted, chocolate, light capuccino. Pitch black colour, light brown head. Taste is straight-forward alcoholic, but also really roasty and bitter. After all, I like it - which comes as quite a surprise.

Classic, heavily exported Asian lager, popular in Indian restaurants and the like. Cream white, not very stable head, golden blonde colour, cristal clear. Simple malt sweetness, some rice, vague floral hops in the finish. Bland like most standard lagers but quenches the thirst after a spicy Asian meal.

blikje 33cl, ziet er leuk uit, heeft vast veel te verbloemen op eerste indruk. schenkt helder gouden met volle witte kraag. aroma is pilsmoutig en komt best redelijk over smaken zijn initiëel glad en zacht, maar dan komen de metalige en vooral medicinale tonen naar boven welke ook doorwerken in de afdronk. conclusie ronduit smerig ! bah ! --- Beer merged from original tick of Tiger on 25 May 2018 at 11:47 - Score: 3

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en niet zoet. Heeft een goede smaak zonder verdere bijsmaak die vaak wel aanwezig is. Uitstekend bier.

Bottle. Pale yellow with small white foamy head that dissipates quickly, sweetish doughy aroma, low carbonation, slightly bitter yeast flavored sweetish taste, abrupt finish. Generic and uninteresting lager.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear pale golden colour with a thin, short lived white head. Weak aroma of malt and hops. Sweet flavour of malt, fruit and a hint of caramel with a dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.
