Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Very sweet aroma of dried fruits with some alcohol. Solid body, a little low in carbonation, dried fruits, syrupy with a massive alcoholic finish. Definitely better than the ordinary "Super Beer". 100110

Bottled 75cl
Slightly hazy orange color, small white head, some lace. Odd perfumic aroma: citrus, green apple, vanilla, brown grass and herbs. Flavor is very similar to Deus: peppery spicey, apricot, some yeast. Finish is fruity and alcoholic.

Bottled@Bishops Arms Vasagatan. Stockholm. Pale copper colour with mediumsized fluffy/creamy head that leaves good lace. Aroma is fruity, eooden and alkso a bit toffeeish. Slight herbal notes as it warms up. Flavour is being quite much the same, even though it also gives a slight alcoholic burn while drinking. Not too much alcohol in the flavour though. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Original HY Super Beer (HΨ) on 07 Oct 2009 at 21:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy nut brown, rich head. The roastyiness is subtle, getting lost in honey. Some cardboard and banana. Aport from the colour there is not lots to differentiate it from the pale HΨ. Warming, sticky finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Original HY Super Beer (HΨ) on 27 Sep 2009 at 11:36 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy golde, small head. Papery buttery banana aroma. Sweet and fruity, near full bodied. Sweet malt dripping with honey. Warming alcohol. Feels like a cheaper version of Deus.

Bottle, 11%. Muddy red brown colour. Frothy but OK stable tan head. Sweet aroma, syrupy like malt syrup. A little citric note as from oaked beer, and a little dried fruit. The flavour starts off sweet with some dried fruit, raisin and prune, a little cherry. Then a slightly rough hoppiness kicks in, combined with a slightly harsh alcohol flavour. There is some yeast in the finish along with the citric note mentioned in the aroma.
