Description
Since hitting the beer world in 2008, Blue Monkey has gained a powerful reputation by winning more than a 100 national awards.
We brew more than a dozen different types of beer including: Pale Ales, Stouts, Dark Ruby Ales and Black IPAs. We have a wonderful range of luscious fruit gins, all based on our classic London Dry and also have a range of rums distilled from sugar cane sourced from the Caribbean.

Cask at Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival 2023. Gluten Free. Golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of floral citrus hop. Taste is malt, grain, biscuit with citrusy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Thanks Simon. Great roasted toffee nose. The beer starts smooth, slightly sourish with a great dry malty roasted depth. Deep roast, smooth mild, easy to drink, dry bitter. Very great deep dry roasted sessionable beer.

Cask at Ye Olde Trip, Nottingham, 07/07/23. Chestnut brown with a light off white head that stays for the show. Nose is toffee, nutty, brown bread, dark malts. Taste comprises biscuit, dried fruit rinds, brown bread, hint of leafy hop. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent bitter.

Handpull cask at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem. Light chestnut brown, clear with a film of white Head. Malty aroma, bready notes, soft stone fruit. Sweet taste, with a clean bitterness sneaking in at the finish. Oily body, soft carbonation. Okay.
