12 ounce bottle. Hazy orange, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt, nutty notes, dry lemon, orange. The taste is bready malt, candi sugar, orange, candied orange, nutty notes. Medium bodied. Nice. A bit rustic.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a chocolate brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of sweet dark grains with light roast and a hint of chocolate. Flavor has roasted malts and sweet dark grains with a bit of earthy chocolate underlying.

12oz bottle. Slightly hazy yellow body underneath a foamy, frothy white head. Damn, that is a nice Pilsener. A little bit biggish malt tones for the style in some respects, but just clean and perfect too. Seems like it could have used a pinch more lagering, but still quite a solid offering.
