Ehm - durchgefallen. First ratingDraught at Delrium Cafe in Gothenburg, Sweden. Very fruitr in the scent and taste. Thick white head and a dark golden color. Pretty bitter but fresh, very different from most German beers I’ve tried (and those are a few)8/4/8/4/16=4.0Rerate(50 cl bottle from Systembolaget, thanks to deft!)BB 25.01.09On October 10, 2008Clear copper color, small white head. Sweet, a bit harsh, light phenolic smoke with cheeze scent. A bit sweet, mostly dry and grainy bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, rather low bitterness.6/3/7/3/13=3.2

Bottle: Amber coloured, quite firm off-white head, lacing; (sweet-)malty nose with a tinge of molasses and cardboard; quite sweet, slightly bitter flavour, rather "thick" and sticky; distinctive bitter-fruity finish, molasses again; not unpleasant, but kind of unharmonic, too malty, too "thick"..........

(bottle) Clear and dark amber colour with a tanned foamy medium head. Toastmalty woody and nutty aroma. Dry malty taste, slightly roasted with caramel and hazelnuts, dry and light hopbitter finish with a strong metallic note. Actually not bad, but the finish destroys the good impression.

Not a bad pils at all. Usually you can find it on tap here in Greece (at kebab restaurants). Accompanies meat really well. Pale golden color, medium to low head but the taste is quite refreshing.

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, quickly diminishing; average nasty german "pilsaroma": a bit hoppy, a bit musty, a bit malty; average anaromatic, thin malty bitter taste; a bit sticky, short bitter aftertaste: the brewery calls it "a pearl of nature"; that must be a kind of black humour.........
