Can. Amber with a frothy near white head that lasts OK. Biscuity aroma with light floral and spice notes. The hop aromatics are less light on a swig but don't overwhelm the malt side of things. Very briefly rich with a dryish bitter finish. Perhaps a tad fizzy. Good.

Schooner on tap at The Grainstore, Newcastle. Looks like a NEIPA, all cloudy amber with a solid head of white foam. Nose is fruit and dusty cardboard. Refreshingly bitter, like a fruity Pils. Good ale, easy to drink.

Can. Mid gold with a 2cm white head that fades pretty quickly. Bready and grainy aroma with floral and spicy touches. A little brief richness before solid and very spicy bitterness. Perhaps the bitter finish jolts more than seasons but this Urqs pretty well.

A really high quality hazy IPA. Tasted yesterday so I don't have accurate notes, but there was a nice blend of tropical and citrus notes, a strong body and smooth but hoppy finish. Great stuff.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy red brown with small beige head. Nice hoppy aroma with pine and maybe hints of caramel. Great mouthfeel, smooth medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Great taste too. There’s hops from start to big bitter finish. Providing some balance is an appearance in the mid palate of some caramel notes. An enjoyable beer, maybe a little hoppy for everyday.

(Can) Pours opaque golden yellow, looking rather like pineapple juice, with a small short lived head. Lovely aroma of pine, citrus and notes of stone fruit. Great mouthfeel, plenty of body with full smooth carbonation. Great taste too making a nice transition from fruity and fresh to crisp and bitter. The fruity start has citrus and some herby hints with the hoppy bitterness following in quickly and building through the palate for a long bitter finish. There is a hint of biscuity malt in the mid palate. Very nice.

Can. Gold. Almost clear with a loose white head. Aroma of citrus and citrus blossoms - almost austere. Lemon, grapefruit, some minor tropical notes. Dryish but firm pale malt with a tiny bit of biscuit. Fairly bitter finish. Fine pale ale.

(Can) Lovely looking beer - black with big milk coffee coloured head. Aroma is black coffee with hints of vanilla. Great mouthfeel. Full body, smooth and creamy with gentle tingly carbonation. Excellent taste too. There’s plenty of coffee with the bitterness well balanced by some toffee sweetness. There’s hints of vanilla and a nice long bitter finish. The alcohol is well hidden but adds some subtle port like warmth in the finish. Very enjoyable.

(Can) Pours clear straw with decent white head. Gentle lemon aroma with pepper and pine hints. Light body with good bright carbonation. Refreshing start with flavours similar to aroma. Some peppery hoppy bitterness develops through palate. Pleasant enough.

(Can) Pours clear straw with good white head. Subtle but pleasant aroma with notes of citrus and biscuit. Light bodied with somewhat fizzy carbonation. Taste is a little odd, there’s notes of citrus, light malt, some distinct bitterness, but there’s odd and rather unpleasant note, sort of bubblegum. Didn’t like it.
