Bottle 33cl. from Finest Belgian Beers @home poured into a tumbler. Hazy to cloudy pale golden colour, tall moussy white head, very stable, finally collapses unevenly, fair lacing. Aroma wheat, lemon, yeast, spicy notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, bitter hops, malty, light lemon, coriander. Medium body watery to oily texture, average carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, grainy, husky and chalky notes, atypical rather bitter witbier, therefore less refreshing than the traditional witbier, still quaffable, nice.

I have 33 cl bottle of Brune acquired from Belgian's Finest Beers back in the fall. I am prepared to have a taste and take a rating. A Belgian chalice is down from the cabinet and it catches a medium dark brown liquid that has a thin top of parchment tan foam composed of very fine, creamy bubbles. I lift the glass for a smell, oh, I think I am going to like this beer. I detect figs, caramel and wheat bread. A drink gives a bit of dark fruit, leather, yeast, grain, malt and just a touch of candy sweetness. Perhaps a bit of spice, as advertised, but not as much as anticipated. A soft, full sensation inside my mouth. A nice presentation of the style I opine.

330ml bottle from Belbiere.

Clear golden colour, white foam. Fruity, yeasty, estery, some banana, a bit grainy, not very well balanced.
