473mL can, pours a clear amber orange with a medium white head – looks very old school. Aroma has plenty of resinous hops, light pine, and plenty of caramel bready malt. Flavour is on the maltier side of old school IPAs, with bready caramel malt, resinous hops, and a touch of pine. Maybe a tad overmalted for my tastes, but this is definitely well-made.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate foamy head. Aromas of metallic roasted malts and a bit of green coconut. Flavors of same with more green coconut. Way too light in coconut and malt base. The former needs to be toastier and the latter needs to be bigger and provide chocolate notes IMHO. So a coconut porter is likely not the greatest idea.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg stamp: tank 10; 04/10/2024). Dark brown with beige head. Mild roast and chocolate malt with feint coconut backing. Needs to ramp up the flavour a bit, but simple and competent.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Intense wet green hops, almost a subtle herbal mint note (guessing this is from the saison yeast?) and some feint gooseberry. Brett not showing up yet. Okay.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with full fizzy head. Aromas of plastic, cola, barley and a bit of vanilla. Flavors of cola and soft roasted malts. Very slight vanilla. Thin base for the vanilla.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazed blonde with small white head. Saison yeast, touch of ginger, hint of lemon. Lacks complexity. Meh.

On tap at Locality, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings outs of earthy hops, some spiciness from rye, crusty bready malt, and piney hops. Flavour is fairly fruity in the hop department, with earthy rye, some fruity hops, and slightly syrupy caramel malt. There's a sort of sickly sweetness in here that is off-putting. It's alright.

On tap at Locality, pours a cloudy dull golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of yogurty lacto, with subdued hops — smells cheap. Flavour is cheap and yogurty, with that typical lacto character, gentle, fruitiness, and essentially no hops. Useless cheap kettle sour.

On tap at Locality, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with an amber tinge and a small off-white head. Aroma brings out gentle vanilla, some earthiness, and a touch of roast. Flavour has some full malty character, with plenty of vanilla. The deep maltiness is quite pleasant. Simple but decently made.

On tap at Locality, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle English hops and bready malt. Flavour brings out gentle English hops, light bitterness, and bready malt. Balanced well, with rather assertive hops on the finish. Very good.
