Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a light bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of lemon syrup with quite a bit of residual sugars is closer to juice than beer. Taste is a mix between some wheat malt notes with quite a bit of residual sugar and some lemon syrup notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking wheat beer with a tad too much sugar thought.

Bottle. Honey, cardboard, cheap bourbon, and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with giant white head. Lightly sweet honey, crappy bourbon and wheat malt flavor. As expected.

Pour is a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is kinda like a pretzel. Flavor is exactly like a hot soft pretzel. Doughy, with that brown outside taste down to the salt on the outside. Like many have said there is no way you would drink a six pack of this let alone a 12 oz bottle. A small sample is plenty. It’s a gimmick sure but I can’t knock it too bad since it’s exactly as advertised.

At a partay: Pours cloudy with white head. Aroma is honey, vanilla, bourbon. Taste is butterscotch, vanilla, and somewhat sweet. Well more than somewhat sweet. I mean it is somewhat interesting, but I don’t think that it is very good.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a huge foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet honey and a hint of bread. The flavor was tangy honey and bread with a sour undertone. Medium length tangy honey finish. Lightish body. Meh.

More Shock Top. I thought I was done with these, no worries, here’s my take on this one.
Into a pint glass, the appearance was a fairly amber to light brown color with a decent looking half finger-ed white foamy head that left an exceptionally light lacing trying to cling to the glass but its sliding for the most part.
The smell, well, it had the apple, if anything. Did it have anything else? Hmmm...not really.
The taste, well, its sweet and it has the apple.
On the palate, this one sits pretty light and sessionable. The carbonation seems to be good for the \"fruit beer\" style.
Overall, hey, not a bad Spring beer at all. Would I have it again? Hmmm...maybe if offered, but not one for me to actually seek out.

Reviewed from notes.
This was always poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a slightly ruddy orange/brown color with a decent looking foamy white head. The lacing was fairly thick and coated the glass nicely.
The smell was mainly some Autumn like spices such as ginger, allspice and cinnamon. The pumpkin itself is pretty subdued.
The taste was spicy and sweet through the previously mentioned flavors.
On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionable quality to it. The carbonation seems okay for the pumpkin ale style and to me.
Overall, decent pumpkin ale. There’s nothing bad nor is there anything spectacular about it.

Continuing on my Shock Top kick, next up is this one.
Most of the time this was poured into a pint glass, but because it says Belgian on the label, I did pour this once into a chalice and once into a snifter, there wasn’t any noticeable difference.
The appearance was a ruddy brown to almost a slight red color with a decent looking half fingered white foamy and bubbly head. This head rapidly dissipated into oblivion leaving nothing on top of the beer itself. What lacing, there wasn’t any.
The smell, well that definitely had the raspberry to it. There was some light wheaty/breadiness about it as well.
The taste was basically raspberry and wheat and it was fairly well combined.
The palate, well, it sat about a light to medium on the body and showed a fairly decent sessionable quality about it. The carbonation seemed not bad.
Overall, not a bad beer. I think Budweiser did what they wanted to with this beer. However, would I have this again? Probably not.
