Bottle thanks to Aaron! Pours clear pale amber, small off white head, decent lacing.. Aroma is indeed pine, grapefruit. Flavor is light sweet and medium bitter. Medium body. Pretty standard IPA fare, but solid for sure.

Cask at Keg & Brew, Sydney on 15th September 2015. Sepia brown with off-white ring-and-film. Roasty malt aroma, continuing in the liquid stage to be joined by sweet caramel and smoked meat flavours. A subtle sour touch. Roasty finish with sweet, fruity echoes around the mouth before a subtle bitterness begins to emerge. Medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Cloudy golden beer with solid white head. Nose has caramel/butterscotch and distant hops. Medium carbonation. Oily texture, instant pine needles then bitter lemon followed by a long caramel finish. Delicious, hides its ABV well. Gets even better as it warms.

From a 330ml bottle on 25/8/2015. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Chocolate malt and fruity hops feature in the aroma. Flavour wise, there’s roasted, caramel and chocolate malt, mango and peach, and a decent dash of hops. Not overly sweet, it has a creamy texture and medium carbonation. A solid enough black IPA.
