Bottle. Gold with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, herbs, white grapes, some honeyed hay and tropical fruits. Light-bodied,moderate carbonation. Sweetish with hay, light biscuit, some honey. All very light and clean, so when the bitterness and citrus and tropical flavours come along they just charge through. Dryish finish. Very good summer drinking. [3.4] A few more of these. Just a bump to overall score.

Bottle at SQUE Rotisserie & Alehouse, Singapore
Dark brown clor, almost black, with small head. There is some smoke and firewood aroma. The flavor confirms and underlines that the smoke profile of this beer is more a Schwarzwäld Schinken than the one from peat; the body is lean, almost weak; there is some roasted malt flavor.
Pleasant but not exciting.

Hazy amber color, frothy head. The aroma is a bit fruity and malty. The malt and caramel flavor is a bit stale, moderate residual sweetness, correct bitterness, with hop fruits and resins in small quantities; a bit like American IPAs from the 90’s.

Hazy tan-amber, thin head. Aroma is piney, rich citrus, rosemary, sage. Taste is actually a bit green and yeasty. The hops are on point - rich, pithy, with citrus liveliness, but the malts don’t have a refined character.

Pours pitch black with a quickly fading dark tan head.Nose shows heavy roast, liquorice and milk chocolate. Not overly complex.Very roasty flavours, but with some cocoa and a fair bit of sweetness. Again, not all that complex.Lovely creamy carbonation.
