Newtown Park Brewing Co. is independently owned by a group of friends who share a joint vision for excellent food, drink, & good times. These are the things that brought us here and is what our brewery is built on.
Closure announced December 13th 2022, however beers have been produced since. Taproom closed in Jan 2023. Brewing ceased February 2023. But website is still online and beers can still be purchased.

27/12/2022. Can at the ITFC Christmas beer share. From Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours clear dark brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of cocoa, nut, roasted malt, toffee, milk chocolate, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, light to moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slightly creamy, bit watery, average to soft carbonation. I've enjoyed this breweries beers, but this one was a little weak.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy golden amber with a medium sized foamy white head and good lacing. The nose has grains and some hints of malts. In the mouth it is quite bitter, with flavours of traditional hops, pine and oranges plus traces of herbs and peaches. Fairly soft carbonation too. This is decent, but I would call it an ISA rather than an APA due to the hoppiness.

Keg at the taproom. Pours almost clear gold with a white cap. Aroma: biscuit malts, pine, grass. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, biscuit malts, pine, grapefruit. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Tidy WC vibes

On tap at The Made Inn Ashford. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Some OK English hops. Decent goldings spicy hops. Yes it's fine. Needs a bit more malt to carry the hops. OK

10/12/2022. Can shared with ITFCDan. From Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours clear very dark brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, coffee, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness, touch tart. Medium body, slightly creamy, average to soft carbonation. Roasted, slightly dry and waxy finish. Decent.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small cream head and good lacing. The aroma is sweet with crackers and cream. In the mouth it has a creamy texture and is almost sickly sweet with marshmallows and crackers. Some malts come through later. Finish is again creamy and slightly dry. This is reasonable enough, but definitely in the “gimmicky concoction” category.

Can sourced from Fuss Club and drunk at home in Streatham, London (28/10/2022) - Refreshing enjoyable mosaic single hop brew, getting some blueberry for sure, some papaya and floral grassy action, clean crisp mouthfeel, light juicy, light malts, piney grassy bitter hoppy close. Alright.

Can online from Red Elephant, Truro. NZ hopped IPA. Pours light hazed orange gold with a white cap. Citrus, stone fruits, with melon, gooseberry, white grape hints. Medium body with soft carbonation. Pretty decent but I do wish NZ hops were a bit punchier, like of old.
