Fra flaske på fellestreff RBHD/Bryne Fråholdslag, Bryne aug-17: klar rødlig mahogny med kort skum. Duft og smak av lakris, anis og gammeldags hostesaft, pluss mørk sjokolade. Slank og lettdrikkelig, men for mye anis i smaksbildet til at jeg synes den er helt vellykket.

From bottle at shared tasting at Bryne with RB/HD and Bryne fråhaldslag 18.08.17. Hazy golden. Foamy and fairly persistent head and lacing. Fine aroma of meadows, marmalade, succade and pale malt. Simalar taste. Medium bitterness.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is strange floral, weeds, flowers, heather, soil, herbs, hay, grass, sweetgale, paper, yeast, almond essence, grain, sawdust. Taste is harsh sour-ish mineraly, weeds, bark, soil, paper, minerals, fruit stones, heather, sweetgale, paper, herbs, sawdust, sour grass, yeast. Medium bitterness, watery and harsh sour-ish mouthfeel. Meh!

Nice beer gift from Bryne, many thanks. Joint session with Finn and djoeye. Fawn-coloured head to an opaque, dark-brown body. Fair lacing. Smell of toffee, raisin and earth. The taste profile has got balanced impacts of dark dough, caramel and dried fruits. Medium sweet doughy ending. True to the style, more or less. (Tromsø 01.08.2017).
